Create Originals adds Australia’s own Gavin Drumm to their international team

Announcing the news with a killer new edit filmed and edited by Dom West, the crew from Create Originals are clearly very happy with their latest rider.

To celebrate the brand’s launch, they have just dropped a killer introduction edit featuring their three first pros, editing by the one-and-only Dom West. It’s a well-deserved endorsement for Drumm, who is without a doubt one of the best skaters in the country, and arguably the world.

The Go Project looks like they are going about it the right way, too. Instead of having a traditional “team” of skaters, they sponsor people on a per product basis. They pay the skaters upfront for the pleasure and the good news for Drumm is, all profits for the first production run of bearings will end up in his pocket!

Here’s what Go Project have to say about Gavin Drumm’s new pro bearings:

“Gav Drumm’s skating is fluid and technical. Go Project Gavin Drumm skate bearings’ low torque and high tolerance are perfect for a heavy vertical load-bearing sport like inline skating.

“They use seven Chrome Steel ball bearings protected by a single sided Nylon shield. Nylon does not dent like metal compounds. This, combined with the single shielded design means that the ball bearings are less likely to be crushed or caught between dented shields.

“Go Project does not use the generic ABEC scale to rate bearings because of its irrelevance to the specific tolerances imposed by inline skating, where quality of manufacturing and materials far surpass theimportance of a rating based upon ‘revolutions per second’. Gav’s bearings simply have a Speciality Rating of 4/5 which represents their performance when used as a skate bearing.”

Five years on, Dom West announces long-awaited Vine St Chapter II with preview trailer

A true classic of modern rollerblading, the original Vine St featured full profiles from CJ Wellsmore, Richie Eisler, Rian Arnold, Tien Nguyen, Mass Alhattawi,  Simon Dorabialski and Charlie Ruckly.

As the title suggests, the edit is 100% street and features the likes of Josh Nielsen, Chris Pullar, Danny Jensen, Gavin Drumm, Tom Coley Sowry, Martin Gade, Matthias Ogger, Tien Nguyen, Phil Moss, Tom Sawyer, Thomas Dalbis, Jeremy Dalbis, Hayden Golder, Trent Phillips and more, alongside a few tricks from visiting US Razors rider John Fromm.

We reckon it’s one of the best edits out of Australia all year, with a mix of awesome new and favourite spots and some of the best skaters our country has to offer. We hope you enjoy!
